Darkness

Enclosed in the void of time
Nothing but the darkness can survive
Home of monsters and demons
Devils and boogeymen
When you fall from the light
You land in darkness
It will engulf you from the inside out
It haunts your dreams and thoughts
You can yell but only the demons and devils will hear you
You can scream and they will only laugh at you
If you try and fight them
They will only devour you faster
Let the quicksand of darkness take your soul
Let it turn you light to dark and love to hate
The people who shelter you from evil will cause your demise
The people who bathe you in light will drop you in the dark
The people who love you the most will be the people who tear you apart
Hold no one close
Let no one feel your love
Let only the darkness give you joy
Let only the demons be your company
Let them save you
Let them hold you
Let them bring you to the dark
