Life & Death

by Heather M Craig   Feb 22, 2005

--wrote this poem in class yesterday listening to my teacher talk about life--

Hunger of childhood imagination,
questioning of life's creation.

Broken souls scattered herewith
trampling over tribulations of myth.

Radiation of His silent casting,
various roles everlasting.

Ageless towers of intelligence
moments risen lived in suspense.

With sudden strikes of passion and hate,
faces expressed with building fate.

Awaiting troubles-long lived strife,
the follow through-stage of life.

Never once fear the valley of death
but be frightened by shadows of breath.

This is probably my favorite poem I have ever written for some reason, it came out very well to me. Vote & comment if your heart desires~
