In My Dreams

Just holding your hand
shows me that someone cares
cuddling up with you reassures me
that you'll always be there
filling with unbelievable warmth
by just looking into your eyes
my mind races when i think about you
and my tummy overflows with butterflies
my heart pounds and my body trembles
with just but one kiss
and the thought of us being together
fills me with complete happiness
i wish i could find a way
to say you hold my heart
it took a little while to realize
you had it from the start
the sort of thing that happens only in
movies, sitcoms, novels, and magazines
something I'd thought would only
happen to me in my dreams
