Whatever Happens Can't be Undone

by Unseen Exposure   Feb 23, 2005

Whatever walks through my heart will always walk alone
Carrying only memories, only images far from home

Whatever traces through my soul will always stay
Never to find an escape from the torturing dismay

Whatever winds through my veins will never be free
Crawling with torn clothes, shoes, skin, and no dignity

Whatever traipse over my malled body shall always know
The image of pain inside of me that I could never show

Whatever feeds from my dead corpse will taste the cruel mistrust
Trying to wash away forever the hate within the beckoning lust

Whatever lays itself beside me will see images that cloud the eye
And will never wake from this dark dream, thus will die

Whatever touches my cold face will be cursed with pain forever
A type of pain that can't be cured, the worst kind to endeavor

Whatever reads my words and relates to the hurt I feel
Already knows by now, the emotions, the infliction ... is real.

- I know this is really confusing, but I'm hoping that there are a few of you out there that can relate ... and let me know I'm not alone. -

I can definetly relate. perhaps not in the same situation, but believe me many of these lines described my being perfectly
    I loved the lines,
"Whatever winds through my veins will never be free
Crawling with torn clothes, shoes, skin, and no dignity

Whatever traipse over my malled body shall always know"
You portrayed the pain so well in those lines. some lines i related to,
"Whatever feeds from my dead corpse will taste the cruel mistrust"
    and
"Whatever touches my cold face will be cursed with pain forever
A type of pain that can't be cured, the worst kind to endeavor"
These lines were so beautiful and have portrayed my own emotions as well. I hope you realize what a beautifully written piece this is and how meaningful is was displayed
