All I Ever Wanted

I came home today
With tears in my eyes
Knowing everything you said
Was a bunch of stupid lies

I showed you all my feelings
And gave you my heart
But you took them for granted
And tore them all apart

I guess you liked her
As she liked you too
But no one loves you
As much as I do

You fell for her act
So I heard from today
You lost my soul
As it floated away

I told you I'll love you
From beginning to the end
That I will do
With much love to send

But you hurt me too bad
For me to be fine
The only wishes I made
Were for you to be mine

But now you're with her
And there's nothing I can do
All I ever wanted
Was me to be with you.
