Last Breath

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 23, 2005

Filthy, unjust, all in one day
Leave her to die, on this floor she lay
Whispering my name, crying a yelp
And I left her, unable to help
Loving me with fear in your eyes
You life began to sensationalize
Missed you already though you were not gone
Leaving with the next breath, swim away as a swan
You’re spreading your wings, preparing to fly
Breathing good air, you’re waiting to die
Your door is ajar, a door to your soul
The windows are distant I’m blind like a mole
Seeing you still, alone in the dark
You aren’t the same without life’s spark
Your rivers run dry, you being a drought
Your last tear is falling concealing my doubt
