My Strong Mom

You were there to hold me
You stayed by my side
You protected me from others
You believed that there was a better side

You were so strong
And you still are
You are my hero
Who taught me everything

Never a tear fell on your face
Until now that is
You hid so much within you
It scares me to see you this way

Afraid to show me how you feel
Cause you think you have to be so strong
But even though there is a tear
I know you still are

You hold so much pain
As I do to
You were always there to relive it
But im hurt cause I cant help you

The lack of showing your feelings
Runs in the blood
I cant show them either
Im to afraid of what’s to come

We now cry together
In each others arms
You can understand me
And I still long to get yours

You are my guardian angel
My mother and best friend
With out you there
I would be lost forever again

I would have never made it
By my self in this world
You were strong enough to go
Threw your life unheard

So now im telling you
As your daughter
You can cry on my shoulder
Even if I cant help

You will get threw this
Like you always do
Be strong, and don’t let it go
Even if you feel like giving up
