Wasn't long before
Your tears were on the kitchen floor.

Tuesday

You would like to see
How I would feel if you were me?

Wednesday

Didn't have to say
I didn't love you anyway.

Thursday

Don't know where I'm going now
What's the reason, anyhow?

Friday

Didn't seem to think
That our love was on the brink.

Saturday

Have to apologize
For my transgressions and my lies.

Sunday

Don't exaggerate
We're meant to be, it's only fate
