Falling Into Shadows

Breaking down in silence
to misguide the rest.
The warming smile to shadow
rapid beats of my chest.

Conceal the darkness
with my dishonest light.
Torn concentration
from the fading sight.

My plates overflowing
and I'm not hungry.
Indulging in reticence
to escape all reality.

Holding out for justice,
lost but never found.
Falling into shadows
with no one around.
