over all i liked the idea a lot, so i thought its a pretty good poem. the flow was maybe a bit awkward, but i liked it anyway so i'll give you a 5/5

hey there u asked people to read your work and comment so here goes....i really like it! makes you think about how you can strive to help. the only thing i would change is...

Hushed are the children
Put to scorn if they laugh
All the people yurn for simpler times
The ideals that are long past...just because i think it folws better.
i especailly like the ending thought it finished the poem really well.

Loved this poem, I do agree with it, I think the view of the world, sucks,, we are better off than we think we are, but we are told constantly by the media, how bad it is......Its kinda scary, but its the way of the world. I too think if we would all just live by the "Golden Rule," Do unto Others, we would be blessed more, but you have your rebels, that just refuse.....I for one will try to be a good person, and will pray for world daily. You have really made my mind wander with this piece of work......thats what a good writer does.....Great job Love ya, becky
