Sealed With A Kiss

by Stef   Feb 25, 2005

On the eve of this fake victory
An empty heart lays forgotten in a room of hopeless dreams.
Worthless possessions line the walls with deceit
In this hollow space, void of emotion.
Reality is miles away from this broken home
As fantasies of finales
Fill this poisoned mind.

Concentrated anger fills the room with a sense of confusion
Final accusations lay in bloodstains on the floor.
A smile floats across a face
Which has been torn apart by misery.
Restless truths expose themselves clearly
In an endless page of tears.

A sob escapes the pale form
Which slowly becomes numb on this bed of lies.
Stories told in scars running deep on arms and wrists
And new scarlet slashes which caused this pitiful ending.
Sealed with a kiss and placed upon this lifeless body
A lifetime conclusion.

My suicide note.
