Even in the smallest dew drop

by ..::.alreadyGoNe..::.   Feb 25, 2005

There is a world, in the tiniest dew drop
an upside down world, all flip flop

i sit on the slick grass and look into the gray sky
where the mist is lightly falling on my face and my life is passing me by

the sun has not yet broken through the downcast clouds
i am in a protective covering, covered by many wet shrouds

surrounding me so prettily
and i wonder if my life will get better, so i won't have to stand so stiffly

like a rock statue that had many masks painted over and over
i bend down on my knees and pick up a tiny green clover

it has four leaves on it, luck will reach me soon
and my happiness will lift me off the ground like a giant golden balloon

there is a world in even the smallest dew drop
and it brings hope even to the hopeless
