Just one more time together

This is about a true story, it didn't happen to me, but to one of my very close friends

Lying there wide awake
Unable to sleep in bed
Mesmerized by thoughts of life
And what a happy one he led

No matter how hard she tried
She couldn't fall asleep
Thoughts of constantly raced
As she softly began to weep
*~*~*~*~*
She just couldn't figure it out
Why suicide he'd commit
He such a happy person
The pieces didn't seem to fit
*~*~*~*~*
The thoughts she couldn't handle
She couldn't stand the pain
That's when her self-harm began
Without him she had nothing to give
*~*~*~*~*
The tears fell out so often
She was hurt so much
To think that she lost him
To think she lost his touch
*~*~*~*~*
She was all alone now
With nobody left to care
Alone to face the world
No one to be there
*~*~*~*~*
The sun didn't shine
Her sky had no stars
She grew silent to others
Each day her arm getting a new scar
*~*~*~*~*
Her world became dark
Never a smile on her face
Her thoughts were only him
And how she wanted him to embrace
*~*~*~*~*
She missed her shining light
Missed them laughing and all
She longed the old times
And them catching each other's fall
*~*~*~*~*
She was so young
She wanted just one more time together
To say her good~byes and how much she cared
To see her dear old big brother
