Just another day

by Daryl E Holloway   Jul 26, 2003

Sometimes I just wonder, why we can't just stay.
Why we can't just stick around, even just for another day.

have you ever wondered why, people come and go?
I guess some people move on with their lives, as they mature and grow.

I don't mean to forget, and I never do just how much they meant to me,
Their friendship was cherished, day after day, and forever always will be.

Sometimes I sit, and relaize, that if I had the chance,
I'd ask God for another day, A day to reminise.

I day dedicated to those we;ve lost, or those let slip away

I'd say to them, right to their face, please just another day.

And maybe in that simple day, we'd say and feel close.
So that just the next day, we wont have to miss those we'd miss the most.

So make sure to tell everyone, exactly how you feel, just in case another day, never comes for real.

Tell thme that you love the way they alwasy make you smile,
And how you wish they could know that you'd walk the extra mile.

I love you, cherish you, you're my forever friend.
If another day never comes, I'll love you 'till the end.
