So I'll Build You A Wall

by Shelby G.   Feb 26, 2005

I have watched you fall apart
One by one, a distorted heart
I've watched you suffer to swallow a breath
I've watched you sweat at the sight of death

So I'll build you a wall

I've seen the way you look around
I've noticed you keep the wisdom you've found
I understand that you'll some day leave me
But that's a thought I cannot leave be

So I'll build you a wall

Just hold on tight, I promise I'll be there
I'll do what I can, because you know I care
I'm not going to watch you fall into peices
I'm not gonna watch your paper get creases

So I'll build you a wall

I'll build you a wall and stop time
Because loving you is not a crime
I won't let you fall apart
And suffer a distorted heart

So I'll build you a wall
It'll be big and tall
Just hold on, please not for that long
I'll stay by your side, because I know it's not wrong

I'll going to build you a wall... I promise...

aww i like it. Don't feel guilty if she passes away! How in the world would it be your fault? Well good luck. And I'll pray for your grandma! Keep writing! That was soooo sweet!!
