Without a care

Just another line she said
just to pass this day.
just to make my obstacles disappear,
that all leave me in dismay

she said this almost everyday,
without a care in the world,
she'd rarely paid attention to anything,
not knowing her life was now swirled

nothing really went her way,
and this was her only way out,
she actually felt like she was at home,
she simply couldn't live without.

one night she got in a fight with her mom,
and ran out of her home,
she was left to walk the streets in the rain,
she was left out to roam.

she caught up with a bunch of friends,
and they handed her a line.
she took it without caring,
she thought she'd be just fine.

what happened after this,
was a tragic scene,
a wreck was found down the road,
and inside were 4 dead teens.

everyone in that car that night
was "having too much fun",
and now to everyones tearful eyes,
these young ones lives were done.
