I walk upon this lonely road just as darkness falls
I hope if I go far enough no one can hear my calls
For once I cross the point of silence... out the demons creep
I do not understand at night, why I just can't sleep
I try and try but in the end it hasn't gone away...
So i confided in the darkness, here I choose to stay
For it is all that's loyal in this life I lead of lies
But all it leaves me in the day, is misery and cries
But for the moment in the night, all is fine & well
Surrounded & engulfed in darkness, swallowed up by hell
