We are the world

Why is the world so unfair, unjust with all it’s judgment
Where people don’t judge themselves, but the imperfections of one another
Why is the world so unfair, where wrongs are passed as rights
Where people who are right are unjust fully accused

Why is the world so unfair, when you feel it turns against you
When the world seems not to make sense, and becomes gullible
But what is the world, but the people that make it
So the people within our world must be inhumanly cruel

So cruel and unfair, they accuse and abuse
So shocking and devastating, that you never know what will happen next
But who are we to complain, since we make part of the world too
We are the unfair and unjust ones, so why should we blame?

We should look at our mistakes, before judging the mistakes of others
And we should watch what we do, before we look at someone else
Why do we care so much, about what people do
And not enough about ourselves

Why do we worry about the wrongs of another
And not realize that we ourselves are making the mistake
Why do we talk about other people
And then complain about them talking about us

Why do we take advantage of people,
And then we don’t want to be taken advantage of
Why do we do to other’s what
We ourselves don’t want to be done to us

Why don’t we understand, that we are the world
And whatevever the world is, we make part of it
Whether it’s cruel, dangerous, happy or sad
We make part of it and only we can make a difference

So why is the world unjust and cruel?
Because we are ourselves
And the only way to stop it is to realize that:
We are the World
