I am a girl in a twisted world that treats me unfair
I am a girl who never gave in but now I don’t care
I am girl who has nothing to hold onto anymore
I am a girl who stands in front of many closed doors
I am a girl who causes herself so much stress she makes herself ill
I am a girl that once stood on flat ground but I now find myself climbing a hill
I am a girl that held on to a belief so strong
I am a girl that now feels everything she was taught was wrong
I am a girl finding it hard to keep her feet on the ground
I am a girl who has become the lost and found
I am a girl that doesn’t know what to believe
I am a girl that now can’t perceive
I am a girl and everything in my life has become a mess
I am a girl and instead of learning more about my destiny I would rather learn less
I am a girl with problems but I’m sure someone out there has so many more
I am a girl with problems and they sound just like the girl I read before
