Life is poetry in motion

by Sarah Ashley   Feb 26, 2005

Life is poetry in motion
Anger, guilt, sorrow, surrendering, devotion.
Life is like an unrhymed song
Sings its verses where they unexpectedly belong
Suprise, surprise
No sun, no sunrise
Surprise surprise
No Lord's disguise.
verse one starts with hope and dreams
The the chorus shatters them (Or so it seems)
Verse 2 tells the story: beginning of the fall.
The chorus goes on.
Verse 3 changes. Verse 4 can be changed. Nothing certain
Nothing clear.
Paint it with your suicide, paint it with your love
Draw the lines with your blood, erase then with your tears.
Point, point the finger. Do the frame.
Color it pretty with your brain.
Rhythm stops. Bridge drops. The end? Perhaps.
Sing. Sing your story. Find your skills.
Follow the footsteps of your will.
Manipulative, exagerative, extreme.
Shameful, pitiful, evil, mean.
Devious, sarcastic, happy, sad.
No right decisions. No good, No bad,
Sing the song of the fallen, or write the rhyme of the Force
If you can't handle the pit. Get out. Follow your own voice.
