Message

by Jacklyn   Feb 26, 2005

A pinch of love,
A cup full of hate and anger built up,
2 cups of loneliness and sadness missed in,
Leading to what makes an early end,

Her name remains hidden,
Her age is 18,
Her and her boyfriend,
Have been dating for two years plus one,

Tonight they had a date,
But then the phone rang,
The message was breath taking,
The message was heart breaking,

He lost control and took his life away,
He left her a note, which explained everything,
Told her she the only one,
That kept him alive for so long,

A pinch of love,
A cup of hate and anger built up,
2 cups of loneliness and sadness mixed in,
Leading to what makes an early end,

His name remains hidden,
His age is 36,
Failed out of high school,
Deserted by his family,

Tonight he gets pain,
But the phone rang,
The message was breath taking,
The message was heart breaking,

He had problems with the bank,
Them he could never pay,
They had to cut him off,
It was a company policy,

A pinch of love,
A cup of hate and anger built up,
2 cups of loneliness and sadness mixed in,
Leading to what makes an early end,

His name remains hidden,
His age is 31,
His job requires traveling,
But this one will have to return,

He got on the plane September 11, 2001,
The plane was in highjack so he called on the plane phone,
His message was breath taking,
His message was heart breaking,

He told his wife he loved her,
She was expecting in a month,
Then the phone line went blank,
And she knew he was dead,

A pinch of love,
A cup of hate and anger built up,
2 cups of loneliness and sadness mixed in,
Leading to what makes an early end,

Her name remains hidden,
Her age is 15,
She lives on the streets,
She lies about her age to make them believe,

She did her daily routine,
But then 911 was dialed and rang,
Her message went unnoticed,
Everyone’s day stayed the same,

She was shot four times,
And she died bleeding and crying,
She died alone,
A mom and dad will never know,

A pinch of love,
A cup of hate and anger built up,
2 cups of loneliness and sadness mixed in,
Leading to what makes an early end,

His name remains hidden,
His age is 17,
He boarded the bus,
But he had special plans,

A day of school, a regular routine,
But then 911 rang,
The message was breath taking,
The message was heart breaking,

He and his body shot kids of his age,
Maybe because of revenge,
Or if their music had an influence who knows,
But nobody can ask him because he took the life he owned,

A pinch of love,
A cup of hate and anger built up,
2 cups of loneliness and sadness mixed in,
Leading to what makes an early end,

Their names remain hidden,
Their ages don’t change,
Two different genders,
One world full of anger and hate,

Phones ring constantly,
With messages of death,
Whether they are noticed or not,
Only some die peacefully,

Listen closely to the cries,
That heard someone died,
Some one in their heart,
That they loved so much,

They all went on their normal day,
But then the phone rang,
With messages that were breath taking,
With messages that were heart breaking.
