I used to be scared of
Letting somebody in
Always being lonely
Till you came along

And I am trying my hardest
With everything inside me
Not to run away and hide
Because you are what I have been wanting

You saw me when I was drowning
You saved me from dying
My heart was ready to say that’s it
Till you came into my life

I used to be scared of
Someone being close to me
Scared to show them the true me
Thinking they would not except me

Until you came along
And showed me it was ok
To open up my heart to someone
You are the one let me be me

Now I am only scared of one thing
And that’s you saying good-bye
You’re the only one I let get close
The only guy I have ever cared if he said good-bye!
