God's Kiss

by Miranda   Feb 27, 2005

There once was a girl
Into a ball she would curl
She was so scared
Go up against her dad she wouldn’t have dared

She finally felt sick of it
All the abuse, all of the hits
She sat on her bed
With a gun to her head

She would go to a better place
Instead of having to see her dad’s face
Mom tried to help, but she went through the same thing
In her head the angel’s started to sing

Come with us
It is something you must
You will be better off
With these words so soft

She wrote a letter
She thought it might make it better
Seal with a kiss
All it said was this

Mama I love you
I hope I’ll be missed
you know I was suffering
by God I've been kissed...
