Rain rain go away….not

Rain rain go away
Don’t come back another day
Never mind forget that
I want you to come back

Shelter me from the sun
Hide me from little fun
Protect me from everything
And the little kids that sing

Make my world quiet again
Bring back the days I’ve slain
Start the rain and bring the clouds
I want the pouring rain shrouds

Help me in my troubled land
Make the rain fall through my hand
Dripping slowly past my palm
Rain drowning out the smallest qualm

Pouring past my open door
A door way showing more
A path way into my heart
My open heart does part

The rain has a way of showing
What I have inside with out knowing
Everything that I hold inside
In the rain I can confide

So rain rain do not go
Stay here to help me show
How I feel inside out
And give me what I can’t live without
