My Awaiting Angel

She constantly smiles through all her pain.
Her laughter's like sunshine after the rain.

She's sweet and friendly, just one of a kind.
The loveliest person you could ever find.

I feel so blessed, she's an angel from above.
She's so full of kindness and unconditional love.

She's given her heart, to my family and me.
And we love her so much, I hope that she sees.

Through this mortal life, we're destined to part.
But she'll always be safe here in my heart.

I'll find comfort in knowing her spirit is free.
And in heaven above, she'll be waiting for me.

*I wrote this for my mom's best friend (Angie)! She's dying from cancer and the doctor's say she only has a few months left! Please keep her in your prayer's...

    very nice poem... tribute poems are always the best...
    my friend katie is going through this same thing.... but with her mother is the one with cancer... i can't even begin to imagin the pain...
