After all these years
i cried these tears
hoping you would come back for me
but now i realize and see

it wasn't you that we had to part
it was me
i guess i got off on the wrong start cause i knew you were leaving me

not even i
we had to go our separate ways
but though i still couldn't say goodbye

as i said goodbye is hard
i don't think i could deal
i flip the card
i think of you in every way though i still hope we we will see each other everyday

i know its not going to happen
i know , my eyes are clear
i wrote you a letter and started out with "Dear,.."

i told you i loved you
but you know that
and wrote me back
and you told me the same but not how we used to

he told me he moved on
and at that moment i thought the same too
maybe i could say goodbye
and get over the blues
