I am like you. I dont like self mutilation poems either, but every once in a while a horrible day comes along and you just want to get your thoughts out. It was very very good for someone who doesn't like these kind of poems! I hope you are ok! Read some of my stuff if you ever get a chance.

Hey heather, keep your chin up hun. I know that you are an upspirited person who is just going through a rough time right now. i know that you will get through it because your a very strong person. You just gotta promise darky to keep your knife away.

Slicing never solves anything, you should definately write poems...that is what you are excel at and i am sure that you know that, so as my poem states "when i am lonely and sad in the night, i reach for a pen and pad instead of a knife" do that sweety, it is the best medicine.

I'm not going to kill myself just so everyone knows, my goodness, if I was I wouldnt parade it around on here for immaturity, reread the last stanza, it's just a symbolization as in the gun is the only way it can disappear, I will always hold the pain forever.
