Every day a soul is trying
and every day the same soul is crying
she sits there on her own waiting to get away
crying herself to sleep almost every damn day
blood shot eyes from crying morning noon and night
she trying fulfill her goals and trying set her life right
but this angel on earth is trapped in hell
as she witness The Devil himself scream and yell
trying prove herself to him as if proved she needs to be
this nicca bringing her down bringing nothing but misery
putting her down, taking away her goals
saying she cant make it on her own as if letting her know
this angel is flying with a broken wing
never knowing what true happiness can bring
at first she was blind but now she can see
letting go of her burdens, being all she can be
so i pray for thee tonight, to the Heavens above
set free the angel sent from the one above
from the north to the south east and west
