your the first to find
a girl who seemed normal
but was sick in mind

nobody saw.
the cuts on her wrists
the meaning behind them
or how they added to the suicide list.

nobody cared.
about why she cried
why her eyes were red
or about the thoughts she'd hide.

nobody tried.
to see the girl inside
to see why the pain
had caused her to die

nobody felt.
a pain so grim
that caused her body
to be deathly slim

nobody's the word
that caused this pain
to start with cuts
and end with a broken vein.
