Please Don't Cry

by nykki   Mar 1, 2005

I sit in my desk at my new school.
Thinking of you...
WIshing you were here to at least hug me.
My eyes fill with tears.
Then I sense it...
(Then I sense it)
I can feel your pain.
(Paiiin)
Your eyes cloud up with tears.
You try to hold it in but fail.
(you failed)
you're crying out in front of everyone.
As am I.
But our tears are not seen.
(We are invisible to the world)
(They are blind to our pain)
Our cries are not heard
(They are deaf to our suffering)
~
As I sit and sob,
Trying to send you a message; I plead in my mind:
Please don't cry...
(Please don't cry)
I sit in the corner, my head in my hands...
I plead:
Please don't be sad.
(Sad)
I can feel your pain.
(It's making me break down)
Further and further down I slip.
Until I find myself screaming.
Frantically without hesitation, I bolt out of the room
and run to you.
I hold your picture close.
And wish for the day we're together to come faster...
