A cursed Temptation

by Lithium   Mar 1, 2005

Reading your words written on paper,
Brings a tear to my eye I can’t disguise,
It hurts me to see you’ve been through so much,
The years I thought made you wise,

To think of suicide almost every night,
Picking up a blade to escape the pain,
Letting the blood stain your pure skin,
I see you do this then I want the same,

When I look at you I see,
A beautiful girl I wish to be,
One with talent and curves,
One that has such a creative way with words,

I don’t know what this poem means, all I see is,
A wonderful girl being destroyed by depression,
Self-harm and aggravation, just please don’t let this curse,
Lead you into temptation.
