Your life is filled with sadness,
And streaked with constant pain,
The tears roll down your face,
And your clothes are filled with crimson stains

The thoughts in your head are dark,
And your heart is shattered and broken,
You pretend to be all happy,
But the truth you leave unspoken

You believe your life is done,
That it's as good as it'll ever be,
This is why you give up all hope,
And you just want to be set free

But you have to stay here
Because people need you here more the you know,
They want you to stay alive,
And give back the love that they show

They need you to help them through their pain,
And wipe away the tears they've cried,
You have to stay here for them,
