I never knew you

by Wit   Mar 1, 2005

I never knew you
even though i wanted to
he's told me great things about you
and i know they are all true
even though i never knew you
it broke my heart to think you did that though
you couldn't take the pain anymore you let go
you left them without saying goodbye
you wanted to spread your wings and fly
sometimes i wonder what i could say to him to ask him how he feels
but i know he just wants you back and not want it to be real
i used to have dreams of how that terrible thing happened
and how that horrible rope tore your skin of satin
i don't know why you did it but i love you anyways
you'll be my grandmother for always
and how the song goes, 'though you are mourning and grieving your loss death died along time ago,'
he, my father, misses you and will never let you go
