I thought it was the end of the world,

I just knew I would die.

But a week has past

And I hardly even cry…

I loved you so much,

I gave you all I had.

And even though you hurt me,

It was worth being sad.

When you saw me cry,

It was like you knew how I felt…

I’ve never had that with anyone else.

You cared in a way that no one else could.

You gave me a chance when no one else would.

Now it’s so clear to me…

We were too young,

And got closer than we needed to be.

But why did it take me so long to see?

No, my world still turns
