The sun's gone down too quick for me.
it's too dark i can't see.
nobody's there and i can tell that nobody cares.
i want someone to love me but nobody dares.

i guess I'm nobody.
i always have been and always will be.
who am i? I'm nobody.
what do people expect to see?
nothing is clear.
I'm all alone and nobody is here.
the shadows begin to smear.

one too many times I've been like this inside.
one too many times I've failed to hide.
one too many times I've failed to fly.

this hole in my heart has grown too wide.
you ask why and i say because I'm nobody.
