It's NOT Going To Be Easy

It’s going to be hard
But I made it before
So I’m thinking
I can do it once more

They might be giving
Me a few days break
Cos this weeks has been
A hell of a lot to take

I think a few days back
In hospital, to take a breath
Rest and just take stock
Instead of rushing for death

For my Mom, for my friends
I can NOT let those bastards win
Those people who abused me
I’m not guilty, it is THEIR sin

I refuse to hold myself to blame
I know occasionally I may
But I have to keep perspective
I can’t just ‘fly away’

So to you bastards who thought
You’d got one over on me
I’m gonna prove you didn’t win –
Cos damn it death’s not the only way to be free!
