On the ashes of our youth,
No wind endures a lonely truth,
Just a passing present, a eternal night,
Elements of a long lost fight.
Survival seeks in future’s light,
The hope to hope to live in might
And gazers search with sorrow wit,
Unique galaxies they will never meet.
So, what is the moral? What is sense?
What is our destiny? Do we have a chance?
Why are we asking all of this?
The answers lie out there in you my Chris.
The answers we don’t need to find,
The questions keep us safe, alive,
There is no need for understanding ,
There is only love that needs embracing.
But then again, our dreamers will be dreamers,
Our lovers will remain forever lovers,
As we are just human beings,
Dreaming, feeling till the time dissolves our fears…
