A walk in two…

by Iacob Mihail   Mar 1, 2005

Darken streets you hold so many secrets,
Hunted by two shadows, by two lovers,
Walking slow, stopping in their movement,
Despite the falling snow
A time that takes a different dimension,
Despite the losing tension…

It is so late, so late, so late…
The horizon fades and their dream escapes,
Like the moment beneath the barren clouds,
As she falls, she feels no fate, no sounds,
In the arms of her beloved makes,
A simple gesture with her face…

Steps are echoing the passing present…
Strangers are the hands they touch,
When they gaze the sky of heaven,
They forgive the thoughts and such…
Despite the tears that crawl,
Underneath the tones of falling snow.

Oh lonely soul, enigma you,
You do not cherish nor you cherish too,
Whispers that were once of words,
Hit the wall to then return as swords
As touches on their skin,
On their white wet glowing skin.

So much to live for, so much to die for,
So much to speak of, so much to feel for,
So much to give and so little to receive,
Oh winds! Unfortunate you are, I pity you,
Unfair your blinded destinies like so they seem,
Winds of east I am too, missing you…
