Love... What About It?

Please post comments and vote... I want to know if my stuff is good... I am bout to right this in 5 minutes how true poetry should be done

Confused
Is my heart being abused
I've loved one girl for over a year of my life
I think about her daily maybe being my wife
My mistakes of the past come into play for tomorrow
You gave me your heart in the past and I returned it in sorrow
My life walked out the door on July 8th
Because my brain and heart had no faith
I know now today that this love is for real
That this love could last and is a big deal
I pray each night that my thinking didn't come to late
Because god tells me everynight that we are fate
You have given your heart to a different man
A man I respect but am not a great fan
He treats you well and keeps you secure
But you and I are the two that are pure
Together we were perfect apart we were a mess
A mess that I created by being a huge idiot nothing less
All I have ever asked for is another chance
To prove to you that this love is a true romance
I love you dearly and truely swear to you
This is no game of the past this is true
Through school and friends you will always be in front
Because no matter where I go you are perfect this isnt a stunt
So come back to my arms and let me hold you tight
And I can promise I will make it right
