Not Today

Stepping out from the light,
Followed by a rainbow,
An angel so bright,
Here to take me away,

I live in a dark place,
Where blood is always shed,
Where I never see a smiling face,
Or a happy memory,

Take me away,
From all the pain and depression,
Do it fast any day,
Before I try myself again,

Suicide was my intention,
But I failed for the 5th time,
Heavens my destination,
Just not today.
