I tremble as I dream
I scream and kick
I cry a thousand tears
When I wake, I can't breathe
I look to the side
And see a picture of you and I
My body starts to shake
My lip begins to quiver
And the salty tears start down my face
I pick up our picture and slam it to the wall
The glass shatters into a million pieces
Just like my heart
I see that smile of yours on your face
I grab a piece of glass
With a trembling hand
I slash my wrist
The blood pours, crimson tears
I should feel some pain for this
But all I feel is misery from my broken heart
I still see the picture of your smiling face
I reach again for a new piece
With the shattered glass
I slash
A hundred cuts are marring my arm
I will cut and cut
Crimson tears will fall
As long as my salty tears are here
