A friend i lost

Best friends are supposed to be there for each other
there not supposed to act like your mother
My best friend isn't here with me today
she took the wrong road and ended her life
she was drinking when i told her to stop
she was partying with all the guys
she was the girl everyone looked up to
she was my best friend and i had to say good bye
we slept over each others houses since we were only five
her favorite color was baby blue
i knew so much about her
but her secret life she was hiding i didn't think was true
I wish i knew before she died
i could've helped her a Little more
i beat myself up all the time
i didn't think i tried
but now she is gone and I'm living life without her
and i had to drop my red rose on top of her casket
they lowered her and its the last That i would see
this happened for a reason
she would've lived life longer
only if she would listen to me
