-To disguise or conceal something from view
Some people in this world
thats all they do
change themselves
as there surroundings change
their views and personalities they then rearrange
So who they really are
will no longer show
and the discretion of others won't be that of a foe
They are terrified to show who they really are. They think this way is best and now friends won't be far.
So everywhere they go, they're someone new, and the people who really know them are a limited few. They change their skins so they won't be harmed. Salvation is near and pain is far.
But I would tell them
don't follow the crowd
be yourself and live it loud
go ahead, take a chance one you
