I tried to die the other day,
but something held me back.
maybe it was you my dear,
the one i know i have.

i tried to die the other day,
you should have seen my wrist,
they were red and bloody my dear,
because i made a fist.

i tried to die the other day,
but something held me back.
a voice of reason that my dear,
i forgot i had.

i tried to die the other day,
but soon it turned around.
because you love me enough my dear,
in myself i have been found.
