Remembering...

Everything after that happened in such a rush,
We fell in love,
You were the only thing I ever thought of,
Then things started falling apart,
Quickly, you broke my heart,
After a couple weeks we got another chance,
But it was all over in one quick glance,
After that I thought I was over you,
But lately I've come to find that that's not true,
When I'm alone, I sit and think,
How it was all over in one blink,
I think about the past, as tears begin to fall,
I remember our one hour summer phone call,
I remember when we danced at the Christmas Dance,
Oh, how I wish I could have just one more chance,
There are so many other things I want to say to you,
But the only thing I can think of is, "I love you!"¤
