White All Around

by noworries2   Mar 3, 2005

Glistening and shimmering,
In the bright winter sun.
You can see each flake
Shine and sparkle.

The wind blows.
And everything changes.
There are valleys where
There once was mountains.
Cliffs where there once
Were round, smooth hills.

Floating in the breeze,
Coming down swiftly,
Swirling all around.
Each falling in its own
unique way.

Light and fluffy,
Wet and heavy.
A lot
A little.
Forming in so many
Different ways.
But one thing is for sure:
It will be
White all around.
