I often berate myself for starting a poem with a purely poetic mindset, and then when it comes to the money shot, y'know where you hit the axis of the poem and the message, or key point is offered up..i usually lose some of my flow...and just say what i want to say more bluntly.

I liked this piece for it's descriptive narrative, but i felt that when you wanted to move it forward in terms of ideas, that narrative suffered somewhat at the expense of putting your message across in an understandable way.
