Your My Ocean, Your My Life

by Tamon G   Mar 3, 2005

Imagine the ocean being the
feelings that are deep in me,
and a message in a bottle being
the things I want to say to thee.

Every breath I take makes
waves that bring the bottle
somewhere safe in your arms next
to your chest in its final resting
place.

As the ocean keeps moving, and
never freezes in time.
Showing that my heart will never
stop creating feelings that want
your love to fuse with mine.

The sky being my mind brainstorming
fierce clouds of desires.
With my hands reaching down to Earth
as thunderbolts,
showing my love might be beautiful,
but it can cause fires.

I'm just trying to get your attention to
get you to look to the sky,
so you can look at the Sun, which
is acting as my eyes.

With my last breath I get the bottle
onto the beach,
deep into sand.
You see it, you open it,
now you have my love in your hands.
Read it, then read it again,
until you fully understand.
That your love is the ocean and I'm a fish,
I need your love,
I can't live on land.
