It's suppose to be an important day,
and you'd think your best friend would remember.
It's your 16th birthday,
and she doesn't even wish you "happy birthday".
You don't understand how she can forget,
because you didn't forget hers.
You don't know how to tell her how upset you are,
and how you feel she let you down.
I will forgive and move on,
but never forget how you could be so careless.
