Dark Corners

by Hannah Leigh Pate   Mar 3, 2005

Dark, dusty corners, lonely places to stay.
Thrown against the wall, day after day.
Lost and broken, stuck in our own Hell.
Hurt and dying, how long, no way to tell.

A bruise here, new memories there.
A stolen life, too much to bare.
Everyday, crimson pours,
From my hand or yours.

Painful thoughts of suicide.
Harmful visions of homicide.
Behind closed doors, where secrets hide,
Lost dreams, only left to live our lie.

Dark, dusty corners, no longer can we stay.
A dark love of ours, must lead our way.
Together you and I, in the dark corners of our mind.
Fighting side by side, forever cursed, you and I.
